And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
