Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the chargers panting, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
