The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The terrible calamity! 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 And what do you know what the Calamity is? 3 On that Day people shall become like scattered moths 4 The mountains like the tufts of carded wool. 5 Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works), 6 He is therefore in the desired bliss. 7 whereas he whose weight is light in the balance 8 the Abyss shall be his home. 9 Ah, what will convey unto thee what she is! - 10 A flaming fire! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
