Seest thou not that We have set the devils on the disbelievers to confound them with confusion? 83 So make no haste against them (O Muhammad). We do but number unto them a sum (of days). 84 The day We shall usher the righteous before Ar-Rahman like envoys into the presence of a king, 85 and We shall drive the guilty ones to Hell as a thirsty herd. 86 [on that Day] none will have [the benefit of] intercession unless he has [in his lifetime] entered into a bond with the Most Gracious. 87 And they say, 'The All-merciful has taken unto Himself a son. 88 You have done an atrocious thing. 89 whereat the heavens might well-nigh be rent into fragments, and the earth be split asunder, and the mountains fall down in ruins! 90 For they have attributed a son to Ar-Rahman, 91 It is not for the Merciful to take a son! 92 None there is in the heavens and the earth but must come unto the Compassionate as a bondman. 93 Verily, He knows each one of them, and has counted them a full counting. 94 And every one of them will come to Him on the day of resurrection alone. 95 Indeed, the Most Compassionate Lord will soon create enduring love for those who believe and do righteous works. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them! Perceivest thou of them anyone or hear of them a whisper? 98
