Hizb 46

So also was Jonah among those sent (by Us). 139 When he fled on the laden ship, 140 And then drew lots and was of those rejected; 141 and the fish swallowed him while he was blaming himself. 142 Had he not been one of those who glorify Allah, 143 He would certainly have remained inside the Fish till the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ We cast him out of the fish unto dry land and he was sick. 145 and We caused a pumpkin tree to grow over him. 146 And We sent him (on a mission) to a hundred thousand (men) or more. 147 and they believed in him: so We let them live in ease for a while. 148 Now ask them if their Lord has daughters, and they sons? 149 Or, did We create the angels females while they were witnessing? 150 Pay heed! It is their slander that they say. 151 That “Allah has offspring”; and indeed, surely, they are liars. 152 Does He prefer sons to daughters? 153 What is the matter with you, how is it that you judge? 154 What, will you not remember? 155 Or have ye a clear warrant? 156 Then bring your Book if you are truthful! 157 And they have invented a blood-relationship between Him and the Jinns: but the Jinns know (quite well) that they have indeed to appear (before his Judgment-Seat)! 158 Exalted is Allah above what they describe, 159 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 160 neither you nor what you worship 161 Can mislead anyone away from Him, 162 except those who will burn in Hell. 163 [The angels say], "There is not among us any except that he has a known position. 164 and, verily, we too are ranged [before Him in worship]; 165 "And we are verily those who declare (Allah's) glory!" 166 And indeed they used to say: 167 "If we had had with us a Book like that of the people of old, 168 Surely we would have been the bondmen of God sincere. 169 But (now) they disbelieve in it, so they will come to know. 170 We decreed that Our Messenger servants 171 will certainly be victorious 172 And that Our forces,- they surely must conquer. 173 So turn thou aside from them for a season. 174 And watch them (how they fare), and they soon shall see (how thou farest)! 175 Then for Our punishment are they impatient? 176 But when it descends into the open space before them, evil will be the morning for those who were warned (and heeded not)! 177 So turn away from them for a time 178 And (then) see, for they too shall see. 179 Too glorious is your Lord, the Lord of power, for what they ascribe to Him. 180 And peace be unto the sent ones. 181 And praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds! 182
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
