The warnings also came to Pharaoh's people, 41 The (people) rejected all Our Signs; but We seized them with such Penalty (as comes) from One Exalted in Power, able to carry out His Will. 42 Are the unbelievers among you any better than they? Or is there immunity for you in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: 'We are a gathering that will be victorious' 44 The group will soon be routed, and will turn their backs to flee. 45 But nay - the Last Hour is the time when they shall truly meet their fate; and that Last Hour will be most calamitous, and most bitter: 46 Truly those in sin are the ones straying in mind, and mad. 47 The Day they will be dragged through the Fire on their faces, (they will hear:) "Taste ye the touch of Hell!" 48 We have indeed created all things by measure; 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 And (oft) in the past, have We destroyed gangs like unto you: then is there any that will receive admonition? 51 And everything they have done is in the writings. 52 And everything small and great is written down. 53 Verily the God-fearing will be in Gardens and among rivers. 54 In a seat of honor near a Sovereign, Perfect in Ability. 55
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
