We have sent the Book down to you with the truth so that you may judge among mankind by means of what God has shown you. And do not be an advocate for the treacherous. 105 And beg thou forgiveness of Allah; verily Allah is ever Forgiving. 106 And do not dispute on behalf of those who betray themselves; surely God loves not the guilty traitor. 107 They try to hide from (men), but they cannot hide from God who is with them at night when they discuss such matters as He does not approve; but what they do is well within the compass of God. 108 Ha, there you are; you have disputed on their behalf in the present life; but who will dispute with God on their behalf on the Resurrection Day, or who will be a guardian for them? 109 And whoever does a wrong or wrongs himself but then seeks forgiveness of Allah will find Allah Forgiving and Merciful. 110 Whosoever earns a sin, he only earns it against himself. Allah is the Knower, the Wise. 111 And whoever commits a mistake or a sin, then blames it on someone innocent has indeed burdened himself with infamy and a manifest crime. 112
