Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have made constellations in the sky and decorated them for the onlookers. 16 and guarded them from every accursed Satan 17 Except for he who steals the listening and is then pursued by a visible flame. 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 We have provided therein a means of livelihood for you and for all those creatures for whom you do not provide. 20 And there is not a thing but its (sources and) treasures (inexhaustible) are with Us; but We only send down thereof in due and ascertainable measures. 21 We send the winds fertilizing, and We send down out of heaven water, from which you drink and you are not its treasurers. 22 And verily, it is We Who give life, and Who give death: it is We Who remain inheritors (after all else passes away). 23 We know those who lived before you and those who will come after you. 24 and it is your Lord who will gather them. He is Wise, Knowing. 25
