Mention in the Book, Moses. He was devoted, a Messenger, and a Prophet. 51 We called out to him from the right side of the mount and made him draw near to be in close communion with Us; 52 And We gave him out of Our mercy his brother Aaron as a prophet. 53 And mention in the Book Ishmael; he was true to his promise, and he was a Messenger, a Prophet. 54 He enjoined upon his people worship and almsgiving, and was acceptable in the sight of his Lord. 55 And mention thou in the book ldris, verily he was a man of truth, a prophet. 56 And We raised him to high station. 57 THESE WERE some of the prophets upon whom God bestowed His blessings - [prophets] of the seed of Adam and of those whom We caused to be borne [in the ark] with Noah, and of the seed of Abraham and Israel and [all of them were] among those whom We had guided and elected; [and] whenever the messages of the Most Gracious were conveyed unto them, they would fall down [before Him,] prostrating themselves and weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ Yet they were succeeded by generations [of people] who lost all [thought of] prayer and followed [but] their own lusts; and these will, in time, meet with utter disillusion. 59 Excepting those who may repent and believe and work righteously; these shall enter the Garden and shall not be wronged at all 60 Theirs shall be everlasting Gardens which the Most Compassionate Lord has promised His servants in a realm which is beyond the ken of perception. Surely His promise shall he fulfilled. 61 They will not hear therein any meaningless words. They will be greeted (by the angels) with "Peace be with you," and they will receive their sustenance both in the mornings and evenings. 62 That is the Paradise which We shall give the cautious worshipers to inherit. 63 "We do not come down," (will the angels say) "but only by your Lord's command." To Him belongs whatever lies before us and behind us, and the space in between. Your Lord does not ever forget: 64 And thy Lord is never forgetful, Lord He of the heavens and earth and all that is between them. So serve Him, and be thou patient in His service; knowest thou any that can be named with His Name? 65
