Blessed is He who has placed in the sky great stars and placed therein a [burning] lamp and luminous moon. 61 It is He who has made the night and day follow each other for those whom He desires to remember or He desires to be thankful. 62 And the slaves of the Most Beneficent (Allah) are those who walk on the earth in humility and sedateness, and when the foolish address them (with bad words) they reply back with mild words of gentleness. 63 And these who pass the night before their Lord, prostrate and standing up. 64 Those who say, "Our Lord! avert from us the Wrath of Hell, for its Wrath is indeed an affliction grievous,- 65 Surely it is an evil abode and (evil) place to stay. 66 Those who, when they spend, are not extravagant and not niggardly, but hold a just (balance) between those (extremes); 67 who call not upon another god with God, nor slay the soul God has forbidden except by right, neither fornicate, for whosoever does that shall meet the price 68 he shall have his suffering doubled on the Day of Resurrection and he will abide forever in disgrace, 69 Except him who repents and believes and does a good deed; so these are they of whom Allah changes the evil deeds to good ones; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. 70 Whosoever repents and does the right, will have turned back to God by way of repentance; 71 And those who do not witness falsehood, and if they pass by some evil play or evil talk, they pass by it with dignity. 72 And those who, when they are reminded of the revelations of their Lord, fall not deaf and blind thereat. 73 And those who say: "Our Lord! Bestow on us from our wives and our offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and make us leaders for the Muttaqun" (pious - see V. 2:2 and the footnote of V. 3:164)." 74 These shall be rewarded with high places because they were patient, and shall be met therein with greetings and salutations. 75 And abide there for ever: What an excellent destination and abode! 76 Say: My Lord would not care for you were it not for your prayer; but you have indeed rejected (the truth), so that which shall cleave shall come. 77
Almighty God's Truth.
