Hizb 46

And Jonah too was one of the Messengers. 139 When he left towards the laden ship. 140 and sailed away in a laden ship, wherein people cast lots. Because he lost, he was thrown into the water. 141 [and they cast him into the sea,] whereupon the great fish swallowed him, for he had been blameworthy. 142 Had he not been of them who glorify Allah, 143 he would have tarried in its belly until the day they shall be raised; 144 ۞ We cast him out of the fish unto dry land and he was sick. 145 And We grew a tree of gourd (as a shelter) above him. 146 And We had sent him to a hundred thousand: rather they exceeded. 147 And they came to believe; so We allowed them to enjoy the good things of life for an age. 148 AND NOW ask them to enlighten thee: Has thy Sustainer daughters, whereas they would have [only] sons? 149 Or did We create the angels females while they were witnesses? 150 Lo! verily it is of their falsehood that they say: 151 "God has begotten [a son]"; and verily, they are lying [too, when they say,] 152 Has He chosen daughters in preference to sons? 153 What is [wrong] with you? How do you make judgement? 154 Then will you not be reminded? 155 Do you have clear authority? 156 Then bring your Book if you are truthful! 157 And they have claimed between Him and the jinn a lineage, but the jinn have already known that they [who made such claims] will be brought to [punishment]. 158 God is far above what they attribute to Him, 159 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 160 But as for you, and that you worship, 161 you shall not tempt any against Him 162 Except such as are (themselves) going to the blazing Fire! 163 Of us there is none but hath a station assigned. 164 We stand in ranks (for prayer) 165 And we are they who exalt (Allah)' 166 They used to say: 167 "If we had had with us a Book like that of the people of old, 168 we would surely have been Allah's chosen servants.” 169 But they disbelieved in it, so they are going to know. 170 And surely Our word has gone forth respecting Our servants, the messengers: 171 That they verily would be helped, 172 and that Our army will be triumphant. 173 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad) awhile, 174 And watch, for they will (soon) see. 175 Do they seek to hasten Our chastisement? 176 But when it descends in their territory, then evil is the morning of those who were warned. 177 And turn thou aside from them for a season. 178 And (then) see, for they too shall see. 179 Glory to thy Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is free) from what they ascribe (to Him)! 180 Peace be on the Messengers. 181 It is only God, the Lord of the Universe, who deserves all praise. 182
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
