And recall what time thy Lord called unto Musa, saying: go thou unto the wrong-doing people. 10 the people of Pharaoh, will they not fear God? 11 He said: "O my Lord! I do fear that they will charge me with falsehood: 12 I feel nervous and my tongue is not fluent, so send Aaron with me. 13 “And they have an accusation against me, so I fear that they may kill me.” 14 The Lord said, "Have no fear, both of you go with Our miracles. We shall closely listen to you." 15 So go you to Pharaoh, and say, "Verily, I am the Messenger of the Lord of all Being; 16 That you should send the children of Israel with us.' 17 Pharaoh said: "Did we not bring you up among us when you were a child? 18 And thou didst that thy deed which thou didst, and thou wast one of the ingrates. 19 He (Moses) replied: 'Indeed, I did that when I was among those who stray. 20 and I fled from you because I feared you. But [since] then my Sustainer has endowed me with the ability to judge [between right and wrong,] and has made me one of [His] message-bearers. 21 And that favour wherewith thou didst oblige me was that thou hadst enslaved the Children of Isra'il? 22 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "And what is the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)?" 23 'He' (Moses) replied: 'is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if you believe' 24 (Pharaoh) said unto those around him: Hear ye not? 25 (Moses) said: "Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers from the beginning!" 26 (Pharaoh) said: "Truly your messenger who has been sent to you is a veritable madman!" 27 Moses continued, "He is the Lord of the East and West and all that is between them, if only you would think". 28 Said he, 'If thou takest a god other than me, I shall surely make thee one of the imprisoned.' 29 (Moses) said: "Even though I have brought to you something convincing?" 30 [Pharaoh] answered: "Produce it, then, if thou art a man of truth!" 31 So [Musa (Moses)] threw his stick, and behold, it was a serpent, manifest. 32 And he drew forth his hand, and lo! it was white unto the beholders. 33
