۞ O mankind, you are those in need of Allah, while Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy. 15 If He please, He will take you off and bring a new generation. 16 And this not at all difficult for Allah. 17 And no burdened soul can bear another's burden, and if one heavy laden crieth for (help with) his load, naught of it will be lifted even though he (unto whom he crieth) be of kin. Thou warnest only those who fear their Lord in secret, and have established worship. He who groweth (in goodness), groweth only for himself, (he cannot by his merit redeem others). Unto Allah is the journeying. 18 The blind and the seeing are not alike, 19 nor darkness and light; 20 shade and heat are not alike, 21 Equal are not the living and the dead. Verily God makes those He will to listen; but you cannot make those hear who are in their graves. 22 Thou art naught but a warner. 23 We have sent you with the truth as a bearer of good news and a warner, there is no community to which a warner has not come. 24 If they reject you, (know that) others who lived before them had also rejected their Messengers, Messengers who had brought them miracles, scriptures, and the enlightening Book 25 Then I took hold of those who disbelieved, and how terrible was My denial (punishment)! 26
