Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for he who fears the standing (before) his Lord there are two Gardens. 46 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 47 [two gardens] of many wondrous hues. 48 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 49 In both of them, there are two springs flowing. 50 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 51 In which are fruits of all kinds, each of two varieties. 52 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 53 Reclining there on carpets lined with brocade, fruits of the garden hanging low within reach. 54 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 55 In the midst of these shall be maidens with modest, restrained glances; maidens whom no man or jinn has ever touched before. 56 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 57 (In beauty) like the jacynth and the coral-stone. 58 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 59 Shall the recompense of goodness be other than goodness? 60 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 61 And besides these two are two (other) gardens: 62 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 63 Dark-green. 64 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 65 In which will be two fountains gushing forth. 66 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 67 In them (both) will be fruits, and date- palms and pomegranates. 68 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 69 There will be well-disciplined, beautiful maidens. 70 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 71 Fair ones, confined in tents. 72 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 73 Whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them. 74 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 75 They will be reclining on plain green and beautifully printed cushions 76 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 77 Most Auspicious is the name of your Lord, the Most Majestic and the Most Honourable. 78
