O YOU APOSTLES! Partake of the good things of life, and do righteous deeds: verily, I have full knowledge of all that you do. 51 And verily! This your religion (of Islamic Monotheism) is one religion, and I am your Lord, so keep your duty to Me. 52 But the people divided their religion among them into sects - each faction, in what it has, rejoicing. 53 Therefore leave them in their overwhelming ignorance till 54 Do they think that We enlarge them in wealth and children, 55 Is [because] We hasten for them good things? Rather, they do not perceive. 56 Verily those who live in awe for fear of their Lord; 57 And those who believe in the communications of their Lord, 58 Those who join not (in worship) partners with their Lord; 59 And those who give that which they give with hearts afraid because they are about to return unto their Lord, 60 Are the ones who hasten to goodness and outpace the others. 61 We do not burden a soul beyond capacity, for We have a record that tells the truth. No wrong will be done to any one. 62 Nay, but their hearts are in ignorance of this (Qur'an), and they have other works, besides, which they are doing; 63 Until when We lay hold of the luxuriant ones of them with the torment, and lo! then they are imploring! 64 "Put a stop to your groaning now! Surely no help shall be provided to you from Us. 65 My revelations were recited unto you, but ye used to turn back on your heels, 66 In pride (they Quraish pagans and polytheists of Makkah used to feel proud that they are the dwellers of Makkah sanctuary Haram), talking evil about it (the Quran) by night. 67 Was it that you did not give any thought to it (the Quran)? Was it different from what was revealed to your fathers? 68 Or do they not recognize their Messenger, and so deny him? 69 Or do they say that there is madness in him? Nay, he has brought them the Truth and it is the Truth that most of them disdain. 70 And were the truth to follow their desires there would have been corrupted the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is therein. Aye! We have come to them with their admonition; so it is from their admonition that they turn away. 71 Or do you ask of them any tribute? In that case the tribute of your Lord is better, for He is the best of providers. 72 You are surely calling them to the right path. 73 but those who disbelieve in the Everlasting Life deviate from the Path. 74 ۞ Did We have mercy on them, and remove the affliction that is upon them, they would persist in their insolence wandering blindly. 75 Already We have seized them with the punishment, but they neither humbled themselves to their Lord, nor did they beseech Him, 76 To the extent that when We opened the gate of a severe punishment for them, they thereupon lie despairingly in it. 77
