The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the morning brightness, 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 Thy Lord has neither forsaken thee nor hates thee 3 What is to come is better for you than what has gone before; 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 Did He not find you unaware of the Right Way, and then directed you to it? 7 And He found thee destitute, so He enriched thee. 8 Wherefore as to the orphan, be thou not unto him overbearing. 9 and chide not him who asks, 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11
