And there are many signs in the heavens and the earth that they pass by and give no heed to -- 105 And most of them are such that they do not believe in Allah except while ascribing partners (to Him)! 106 Do they feel secure that the punishment of Allah will envelop them, or that the Hour will overtake them suddenly when they are unaware? 107 Say thou: "This is my way: I do invite unto Allah,- on evidence clear as the seeing with one's eyes,- I and whoever follows me. Glory to Allah! and never will I join gods with Allah!" 108 And We sent not before thee any save men unto whom We revealed from among the people of the towns. Have then they not travelled about in the land that they might observe of what wise hath been the end of those before them? And surely the abode of the Hereafter is best for those who fear! Reflect then ye not? 109 Respited were they until when the apostles had despaired and imagined that they were deluded, there came unto them Our succour; then whomsoever We willed was delivered. And Our wrath is not warded off from a people sinful. 110 In their histories there is certainly a lesson for men of understanding. It is not a narrative which could be forged, but a verification of what is before it and a distinct explanation of all things and a guide and a mercy to a people who believe. 111
