Say: O My bondmen who believe! Observe your duty to your Lord. For those who do good in this world there is good, and Allah's earth is spacious. Verily the steadfast will be paid their wages without stint. 10 Say: 'I have been commanded to serve God making my religion His sincerely; 11 “And I am commanded that I be the first to submit.” 12 Say: 'Truly I fear, if I should rebel against my Lord, the chastisement of a dreadful day.' 13 Say, "It is God I serve, sincere in my faith in Him alone -- 14 so serve what you will apart from Him.' Say: 'Surely the losers are they who lose themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection; is not that the manifest loss? 15 They will have sheets of fire above them and sheets of fire beneath them." That is how God puts fear into the hearts of His servants. Fear me, then, My servants. 16 There is good news for those who shun the worship of false deities and turn to God, so give good news to My servants, 17 who give ear to the Word and follow the fairest of it. Those are they whom God has guided; those -- they are men possessed of minds. 18 Then, is one who has deserved the decree of punishment [to be guided]? Then, can you save one who is in the Fire? 19 As for those who fear their Lord, there await high mansions above which are built (more) high mansions, beneath which rivers flow, such is the promise of Allah; Allah will not fail His promise. 20 Beholdest thou not that Allah sendeth down water from the heaven, and causeth it to enter springs in the earth, and thereafter produceth thereby corn various coloured. Thereafter it wirhereth, and thou beholdest it turn yellow; then He maketh it chaff. Verily herein is an admonition for men of understanding. 21
