Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah)
52 verses, revealed in Mecca after Kingship (Al-Mulk) before The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ The Indubitable! 1 And what is that indubitable event? 2 And what could make thee conceive what that laying-bare of the truth will be? 3 THE LIE gave [the tribes of] Thamud and 'Ad to [all tidings of] that sudden calamity! 4 As for Thamood, they were destroyed by the Screamer; 5 And as to Ad, they were destroyed by a roaring, violent blast. 6 which He willed against them for seven nights and eight days without cease, so that in the end thou couldst see those people laid low [in death,] as though they were so many [uprooted] trunks of hollow palm trees: 7 Can you see any of their survivors? 8 And there was Pharaoh, too, and [many of] those who lived before him, and the cities that were overthrown - [all of them] indulged in sin upon sin 9 And they disobeyed their Lord's Messenger, so He punished them with a strong punishment. 10 Lo, when the waters rose, We bore you in the running ship 11 as a lesson for you, but only attentive ears will retain it. 12 Then when the Trumpet will be blown with one blowing (the first one), 13 And the earth and the mountains will be lifted up and crushed with a single crush. 14 So that is the day when the forthcoming event will occur. 15 And the heaven will split [open], for that Day it is infirm. 16 and the angels will stand on the sides, with eight of them bearing aloft the Throne of your Lord on that Day. 17 On that day all your secrets will be exposed. 18 So as for he who is given his record in his right hand, he will say, "Here, read my record! 19 Surely I knew that I should have to meet my reckoning. 20 Then he will be in blissful state 21 In an elevated garden, 22 its fruits are near. 23 (It will be said): 'Eat and drink with a good appetite because of what you did in days long passed' 24 But, he who is given his book in his left hand will say: 'Woe to me, would that my book had not been given to me! 25 and neither known this my account! 26 I wish death had put an end to me. 27 My wealth has availed me nothing: 28 “All my power has vanished.” 29 It will be said, “Seize him, and shackle him.” 30 Then throw him in the blazing Fire. 31 then in a chain of seventy cubits' length insert him! 32 Verily, He used not to believe in Allah, the Most Great, 33 nor were they concerned with feeding the destitute. 34 Therefor hath he no lover here this day, 35 Nor any food except from the discharge of wounds; 36 None will eat except the Khati'un (sinners, disbelievers, polytheists, etc.). 37

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
