Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
