The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

OH, the sudden calamity! 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity? 3 The day when men will be like scattered moths. 4 And the mountains shall become as wool carded, 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 He shall be in a life well-pleasing. 7 whereas he whose weight is light in the balance 8 the Abyss shall be his home. 9 And what shall teach thee what is the Pit? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11
