And assuredly the dwellers of Hijr belied the sent ones. 80 And we gave them Our revelations, but they were averse to them. 81 And they hewed houses in the mountains in security. 82 Then the Blast caught them in the morning 83 and of no avail to them was all [the power] that they had acquired. 84 We did not create the heavens and the earth, and what is between them except in truth. The Hour is sure to come, therefore, forgive them with a gracious pardon. 85 Your Lord is indeed the Creator of all, the All-Knowing. 86 And We have bestowed upon thee the Seven Oft-repeated (verses) and the Grand Qur'an. 87 Stretch not thine eyes to that We have given pairs of them to enjoy; and do not sorrow for them, and lower thy wing unto the believers, 88 And say: 'I am the plain warner' 89 Even as We sent down on the dividers 90 who have broken the Koran into parts, 91 So by your Lord, We will surely question them all 92 for what they have done 93 Therefore declare openly what you are bidden and turn aside from the polytheists. 94 Lo! We defend thee from the scoffers, 95 Those who adopt, with Allah, another god: but soon will they come to know. 96 And well do We know that thy bosom is constricted by the [blasphemous] things that they say: 97 but extol thou thy Sustainer's limitless glory and praise Him, and be of those who prostrate themselves [before Him] in adoration, 98 And keep worshipping your Lord, till death* comes to you. (* The certainty.) 99
Almighty Allah's Truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
