T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Ta-Ha. 1 We have not revealed unto thee (Muhammad) this Qur'an that thou shouldst be distressed, 2 But only as an admonition to those who fear (Allah),- 3 A revelation from Him who created the earth and the high ascending skies, 4 The ever-merciful, established on the throne (of authority). 5 To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth, and whatever lies in between them, and all that lies under the ground. 6 And if thou speakest aloud, then lo! He knoweth the secret (thought) and (that which is yet) more hidden. 7 Allah - there is no god but He. His are the most excellent names. 8 Has the story of Moses reached thee? 9 Lo! he saw a fire [in the desert]; and so he said to his family: "Wait here! Behold, I perceive a fire [far away]: perhaps I can bring you a brand there from, or find at the fire some guidance." 10 So when he came to it, a voice was uttered: O Musa: 11 Verily I am your Lord! Take off your shoes. You are in the sacred valley, Tuwa! 12 and I have chosen thee [to be My apostle]: listen, then, to what is being revealed [unto thee]. 13 “Indeed it is Me, Allah – there is no God except I – therefore worship Me and keep the prayer established for My remembrance.” 14 "Behold, [although] I have willed to keep it hidden, the Last Hour is bound to come, so that every human being may be recompensed in accordance with what he strove for [in life]. 15 Let not the unbelievers who follow their vain desires make you forget the Day of Judgment, lest you will perish." 16 The Lord asked, "Moses, what is in your right hand?" 17 He said, "It is my rod: on it I lean; with it I beat down fodder for my flocks; and in it I find other uses." 18 He said: Cast it down, O Moses! 19 So he threw it down, and lo! it was a rapidly moving snake. 20 (Allah) said, "Seize it, and fear not: We shall return it at once to its former condition".. 21 Put your hand under your armpit: it will come out [shining] white, without any blemish. This shall be another sign. 22 We shall show you some of Our greatest signs. 23 "[And now] go thou unto Pharaoh: for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of equity. 24
