The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken with its (final) earthquake. 1 And the earth discharges its burdens 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 On that Day will she declare her tidings: 4 for your Lord has so directed it. 5 On that Day people will go forth in varying states so that they be shown their deeds. 6 So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, 7 while whoever has done the smallest particle of evil will see it. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
