۞ O men! It is you who stand in need of God -- God is self-sufficient, and praiseworthy -- 15 If He so wills, He can do away with you and bring forth a new mankind [in your stead]: 16 This would not cost God dear at all. 17 No one can bear another's burden. If a heavily laden one should call another to carry his load, none of it shall be carried by the other, even though he be a near of kin. (O Prophet), you can warn only those who fear their Lord without seeing Him and establish Prayer. Whoever purifies himself does so to his own good. To Allah is the final return. 18 And the blind and the seeing are not alike 19 nor are darkness and light. 20 nor the [cooling] shade and the scorching heat: 21 Nor are (alike) the living (believers) and the dead (disbelievers). Verily, Allah makes whom He will hear, but you cannot make hear those who are in graves. 22 You are purely a Herald of Warning. 23 We have sent you in all truth as a bearer of glad news and a warner. No nation who lived before was left without a warner. 24 And if they deny you - then already have those before them denied. Their messengers came to them with clear proofs and written ordinances and with the enlightening Scripture. 25 then I seized the unbelievers, and how was My horror! 26
