Indeed, We created the human. We know the whisperings of his soul, and are closer to him than the jugular vein. 16 When the two receivers receive, seated on the right and on the left. 17 Not a word does he (or she) utter, but there is a watcher by him ready (to record it). 18 And [then,] the twilight of death brings with it the [full] truth that [very thing, O man,] from which thou wouldst always look away! 19 The trumpet will be sounded. Indeed, you two, cast him into the terrible punishment' 26 ۞ and his associate [Satan] will say, "Lord, I did not make him transgress, he had already gone far astray himself." 27 (It was said): “Do not remonstrate in My presence. I had warned you. 28 The sentence that cometh from Me cannot be changed, and I am in no wise a tyrant unto the slaves. 29
