The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 Who determines and directs, 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
