The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin, Mim. 1 These are the verses of the illustrious Book. 2 Perhaps you consume yourself that they are not believers. 3 But if We had so willed, We could have sent down to them a sign from the heavens so that their heads would be bowed down before it in utter humility. 4 And no revelation comes to them anew from the Most Merciful except that they turn away from it. 5 thus, indeed, have they given the lie (to this message as well). But [in time] they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride! 6 Did they not look at the earth - how much We have produced therein from every noble kind? 7 Verily there are signs in this; yet many of them do not believe. 8 And verily, thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 9
