The dwellers of the forest also rejected the Messengers. 176 Behold, Shu'aib said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 177 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 178 So fear Allah and obey me. 179 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 180 ۞ Give a full measure and be not of those who diminish; 181 And weigh (things) with a right balance, 182 and do not deprive people of what is rightfully theirs; and do not act wickedly on earth by spreading corruption, 183 Have fear of the One who has created you and the generations that lived before you." 184 They said, “You are under a magic spell.” 185 You are only a human being like ourselves. Indeed we think you are a liar. 186 Then drop down on us lumps from heaven, if thou art one of the truthful.' 187 He said: "My Lord knows best what ye do." 188 But they cried him lies; then there seized them the chastisement of the Day of Shadow; assuredly it was the chastisement of a dreadful day. 189 In this there is an evidence of the Truth, but many of them did not have any faith. 190 your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 191
