And to Allah belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. And on the Day that the Hour will be established, on that Day the followers of falsehood (polytheists, disbelievers, worshippers of false deities, etc.) shall lose (everything). 27 You will see all the people kneeling down. Everyone will be summoned to the Book (containing the record of their deeds). They will be told, "On this day you will be recompensed for what you have done". 28 "This Our Record speaks about you with truth: For We were wont to put on Record all that ye did." 29 The Lord will admit the righteously striving, believing people into His mercy. This is certainly a clear victory. 30 But as for those who were bent on denying the truth, [they will be told:] "Were not My messages conveyed to you? And withal, you gloried in your arrogance, and so you became people lost in sin: 31 "And when it was said that the promise of Allah was true, and that the Hour- there was no doubt about its (coming), ye used to say, 'We know not what is the hour: we only think it is an idea, and we have no firm assurance.'" 32 Then will appear to them the evil (fruits) of what they did, and they will be completely encircled by that which they used to mock at! 33 and it will be said: “We will forget you today as you forgot the meeting of this Day of yours. The Fire shall now be your abode, and you shall have none to come to your aid. 34 That is because ye took the revelations of Allah scoffingly, and there beguiled you the life of the world. Today, therefore, they will not be taken forth therefrom, nor will they be suffered to please Allah. 35 Praise, belongs to Allah, the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Worlds. 36 And for Him only is the Greatness, in the heavens and in the earth; and He only is the Most Honourable, the Wise. 37
