Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Qaf. [These letters (Qaf, etc.) are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings]. By the Glorious Quran. 1 But they wonder that there has come to them a Warner from among themselves. So the Unbelievers say: "This is a wonderful thing! 2 "What! When we die and become dust, (shall we live again?) That is a (sort of) return far (from our understanding)." 3 We know indeed what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a writing that preserves. 4 In fact, they have rejected the truth that has come to them, thus, they live in confusion. 5 Have they not seen how We have established the sky above them and decked it without gaps and cracks? 6 And the earth, We have made it plain and cast in it mountains and We have made to grow therein of all beautiful kinds, 7 thus offering an insight and a reminder unto every human being who willingly turns unto God. 8 And We send down from the sky blessed water whereby We give growth unto gardens and the grain of crops, 9 and tall palm-trees with their thickly-clustered dates, 10 as a provision for the worshipers; thereby We revived a land that was dead. Such shall be the emerging. 11 (Others) before them rejected (prophets): the people of Nuh and the dwellers of Ar-Rass and Samood, 12 And the tribe of 'Ad, and Pharaoh, and the brethren of Lot, 13 and the dwellers of the Wood, and the people of Tubba': every one denied their messengers, and so My warning came true. 14 Were We then weary with the first Creation, that they should be in confused doubt about a new Creation? 15
