The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The Striking! 1 How awesome the sudden calamity! 2 And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity? 3 It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about, 4 and the mountains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, 6 He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). 7 But as for one whose scales are light, 8 the Abyss shall be his home. 9 And what shall make thee know that which she is? 10 A burning fire. 11
