The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ When the Event inevitable cometh to pass, 1 There is no denying that it will befall - 2 It will bring low (some); (and others) it will exalt; 3 When the earth shall be shaken to its depths, 4 And the hills are ground to powder 5 So that they shall be as scattered dust. 6 And you (all) will be in three kinds (i.e. separate groups). 7 Those on the Right -- how blessed are those on the Right! 8 And those on the Left Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Record in their left hands), Who will be those on the Left Hand? (As a disgrace for them, because they will enter Hell). 9 And the foremost in the race, the foremost in the race: 10 These will be those nearest to Allah. 11 They are in Gardens of peace. 12 (a throng of the ancients 13 And a few from the latter. 14 On couches in wrought with gold. 15 facing one another. 16 They will be served by immortal boys, 17 Carrying bowls and pitchers – and cups filled with wine flowing before them. 18 Wherefrom they will get neither any aching of the head, nor any intoxication. 19 And fruit; that they may choose. 20 And with flesh of fowls from that which they desire. 21 And gorgeous eyed fair maidens. 22 The likes unto pearls hidden. 23 a recompense for all that they did. 24 There hear they no vain speaking nor recrimination 25 Only a saying: "Peace, peace." 26 As for the people of the right hand, how happy they will be! 27 They shall recline on high amidst lote trees without thorns 28 And banana-trees (with fruits), one above another. 29 and continuous shade, 30 Gushing water, 31 And fruit in plenty, 32 That will neither finish, nor ever be stopped. 33 And couches raised up. 34 We have created (their Companions) of special creation. 35 So made them as maidens. 36 The beloved of their husbands, of one age. 37 For the companions of the right [who are] 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
