۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent gatherers to the cities. 53 (Saying): "Verily! These indeed are but a small band. 54 who have enraged us greatly. 55 we are a large and watchful force." 56 So We made them leave the gardens and springs of water, 57 And treasures and agreeable mansions. 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 And when the two groups saw each other, those with Moosa said, “They have caught us.” 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 Then We brought the others to that place. 64 And We delivered Musa and those with him together. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 68
