Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I am only a warner, and there is no Allah save Allah, the One, the Absolute, 65 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Almighty, the All-Forgiving!" 66 Say, "This is momentous news, 67 To which you pay no heed. 68 I had no knowledge of the Highest Chiefs when they disputed; 69 “I receive only the divine revelations, that I am purely a clear Herald of Warning.” 70 (Remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Truly, I am going to create man from clay". 71 “So when I have perfected him and breathed into him a spirit from Myself, (you all) fall down before him in prostration.” 72 Then the angels, all of them, prostrated themselves before Adam 73 Except Iblis. He was filled with pride and turned an unbeliever. 74 He said: O Iblis! What hindereth thee from falling prostrate before that which I have created with both My hands? Art thou too proud or art thou of the high exalted? 75 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "I am better than he, You created me from fire, and You created him from clay." 76 (Allah) said: "Then get thee out from here: for thou art rejected, accursed. 77 and My curse shall remain upon you till the Day of Resurrection.” 78 Satan said: “My Lord, then grant me respite till the Day that they are raised up.” 79 Allah said: verily, thou art of those respited. 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 He said: Then by Thy Might I will surely make them live an evil life, all, 82 except those among them who are Your sincere worshipers' 83 The Lord said, "I swear by the Truth - and I speak the Truth - 84 That I shall fill Hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together. 85 Say, [O Muhammad], "I do not ask you for the Qur'an any payment, and I am not of the pretentious 86 This is nothing else but a reminder to all the worlds, 87 “And you will come to know of its tidings, after a while.” 88
