Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven shall be cleft, 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 when the seas overflow; 3 And when the graves are overturned. 4 Every soul will come to know what it has sent ahead and what it left behind. 5 O man, what seduced you from your munificent Lord 6 The One Who created you, then moulded you, then made you proper? 7 Shaping you into any form He pleased? 8 Nay! but you give the lie to the judgment day, 9 Lo! there are above you guardians, 10 The honourable recorders. 11 who know what you do. 12 Surely the pious shall be in bliss, 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment, 15 And will not be absent thence. 16 How can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 17 Again: what will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 18 It is the Day when no soul can do a thing for another soul. That Day, the command belongs to Allah. 19
