Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting, panting horses, 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
