Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Qaf. By the glorious Koran! 1 But they wonder that there has come to them a Warner from among themselves. So the Unbelievers say: "This is a wonderful thing! 2 to come back to life after we have died and become dust? That is most improbable!" 3 We know indeed what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a writing that preserves. 4 In fact they denied the Truth when it came to them, so they are now in a dilemma. 5 Have they not looked up to the heaven above them, in what wise We have constructed and bedecked it, and that therein is no rift? 6 We spread out the earth and set upon it solid mountains and We brought forth from it all kinds of delightful plants, 7 This is a reminder and it sharpens the insight of every servant of God who turns to Him in repentance. 8 We sent down blessed water from the sky with which We caused gardens and the grains of harvest to grow, 9 And tall date-palms, with ranged clusters; 10 A sustenance for the servants, and We give life thereby to a dead land; thus is the rising. 11 Before them, the nation of Noah, the nation of ArRass belied and so did Thamood 12 As did the people of 'Ad and Pharaoh and the brethren of Lot, 13 And the companions of the thicket and the people of Tubba'. All denied the messengers, so My threat was justly fulfilled. 14 Did We fail in the first creation? But they are in confusion over a new creation. 15
