Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have set in heaven constellations and decked them out fair to the beholders, 16 And We have preserved it from every accursed devil, 17 But he who steals a hearing, so there follows him a visible flame. 18 And the earth! We have stretched it out and have cast thereon mountains firm, and We have caused to spring up thereon everything weighed. 19 and there appointed for you livelihood, and for those you provide not for. 20 With Us is the source of everything and We do not send it down except in a known quantity. 21 And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores. 22 Truly, it is We who bring to life and We who cause death and We are the inheritor of all things. 23 We surely know those of you who go forward and those of you who lag behind. 24 And surely your Lord will gather them together; surely He is Wise, Knowing. 25
