VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 [having been received with the greeting,] "Enter here in peace, secure!" 46 We shall remove all rancor from their hearts, and as brethren they shall recline on couches face to face. 47 They shall face no fatigue in it, nor shall they ever be driven out of it. 48 ۞ [O Muhammad], inform My servants that it is I who am the Forgiving, the Merciful. 49 And that indeed the punishment of Mine is a painful punishment. 50 And tell them about Abraham's guests. 51 When they entered unto him, and said; peace! He said: verily we are afraid of you. 52 They said: Be not afraid, surely we give you the good news of a boy, possessing knowledge. 53 He said: "Do ye give me glad tidings that old age has seized me? Of what, then, is your good news?" 54 They said, "We have given you the glad news for a true reason so do not despair". 55 He said, "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray?" 56 And asked them: "What matter, O angels, brings you here?" 57 They said: "Verily we have been sent to a guilty people 58 barring Lot's household, all of whom, behold, we shall save 59 “Except his wife – we have decided that she is of those who will stay behind.” 60
