Blessed be He Who has placed in the heaven big stars, and has placed therein a great lamp (sun), and a moon giving light. 61 And He it is Who has put the night and the day in succession, for such who desires to remember or desires to show his gratitude. 62 The worshipers of the Merciful are those who walk humbly on the earth, and when the ignorant address them say: 'Peace' 63 who pass the night prostrate to their Lord and standing; 64 and who pray: "O our Sustainer, avert from us the suffering of hell - for, verily, the suffering caused by it is bound to be a torment dire: 65 It is a terrible abode and an evil station," 66 And those who, when they spend, are neither prodigal nor grudging; and there is ever a firm station between the two; 67 and who never invoke any [imaginary] deity side by side with God, and do not take any human beings life - [the life] which God has willed to be sacred - otherwise than in [the pursuit of] justice, and do not commit adultery. And [know that] he who commits aught thereof shall [not only] meet with a full requital 68 (But) the Penalty on the Day of Judgment will be doubled to him, and he will dwell therein in ignominy,- 69 Except those who repent and come to believe and do the right, for whom God will turn evil into goodness, for God is forgiving and kind. 70 Whosoever repents and does the right, will have turned back to God by way of repentance; 71 And [they are] those who do not testify to falsehood, and when they pass near ill speech, they pass by with dignity. 72 who, when reminded of the revelations of their Lord, do not try to ignore them as though deaf and blind. Rather, they try to understand and think about them. 73 Those who say: 'Lord give us of our wives and children what pleases our eyes and make us leaders to the fearful' 74 These are the ones who will be rewarded with lofty mansions in Paradise, for their steadfastness. They will be received therein with greetings of welcome and salutations of peace. 75 Abiders therein: excellent it is as an abode and as a station. 76 O Muhammad, tell the people, "MyLord does not care at all if you do not invoke Him. Now that you have denied (His Revelation), you will soon be awarded such a punishment which you will never be able to avoid." 77
