And warnings came in truth unto the house of Pharaoh 41 but they rejected all Our miracles. So We seized them in the way that a Majestic and All-powerful One would. 42 Are your Unbelievers, (O Quraish), better than they? Or have ye an immunity in the Sacred Books? 43 Or is it that they say: we are a multitude prevailing! 44 The army will be routed and put to flight. 45 Surely the Hour will be the moment of their promise, and that moment will be calamitous and distressing. 46 Truly those in sin are the ones straying in mind, and mad. 47 On that Day they will be dragged into the fire faces foremost, (and told:) "Taste the feel of Hell." 48 BEHOLD, everything have We created in due measure and proportion; 49 And Our commandment shall be but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you; is there any that will remember? 51 Every thing that they have done is in the Scrolls, 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 Indeed, the cautious shall live amid gardens and a river, 54 At the still centre in the proximity of the King all-powerful. 55
