The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ When the Event (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) befalls. 1 There is, at its occurrence, no denial. 2 abasing [some,] exalting [others]! 3 when the earth shall be rocked 4 and the mountains will crumble 5 and become like scattered dust particles, 6 And ye will be three kinds: 7 Those on the Right -- how blessed are those on the Right! 8 And (then) those on the left hand; what of those on the left hand? 9 And the foremost are the foremost, 10 those are they brought near (to their Lord) 11 In gardens of tranquility; 12 Many of them will be from the ancient people 13 and a lesser number from the later generations. 14 (They will be) on thrones woven with gold and precious stones, 15 reclining on them, arrayed face to face; 16 There shall go round unto them youths ever-young. 17 With bowls and ewers and a cup from a pure spring 18 (no brows throbbing, no intoxication) 19 And such fruits as they fancy, 20 And the flesh of fowls that they desire. 21 And [for them are] fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes, 22 The likes unto pearls hidden. 23 Reward for what they used to do. 24 No empty talk will they hear there, nor any call to sin, 25 only the saying 'Peace, Peace!' 26 The companions of the right - what are the companions of the right? 27 (They will be) among thornless lote-trees, 28 And banana-trees (with fruits), one above another. 29 And in everlasting shade. 30 And water poured out 31 and fruit abounding, 32 never-ending and unforbidden. 33 and raised couches 34 We have created maidens perfectly 35 And made them virgin - pure (and undefiled), - 36 intensely loving and of matching age. 37 For the companions of the right [who are] 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
