1/2 Hizb 54
< random >
۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 That this is indeed a qur'an Most Honourable, 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 A revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Is it this discourse that ye hold lightly? 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Why, but when the soul leaps to the throat of the dying 83 And you at the moment are looking on, 84 at that moment when We are closer to him than you, although you do not see (Us) 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 Then there is safety and peace (from the Punishment of Allah) for (you as you are from) those on the Right Hand. 91 And if he is one of the rejecters, the erring ones, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 96
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
