And says man, “When I am dead, will I soon be brought forth alive?” 66 Does he not remember that We created him when he did not exist? 67 So, by thy Lord, without doubt, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Evil Ones (with them); then shall We bring them forth on their knees round about Hell; 68 Then We shall pluck out from every sect whichever of them was most stubborn in rebellion to the Beneficent. 69 Then, verily, We know best those who are most worthy of being burnt therein. 70 And there is not one of you but shall come to it; this is an unavoidable decree of your Lord. 71 Then We shall rescue those who kept from evil, and leave the evil-doers crouching there. 72 When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, the Unbelievers say to those who believe, "Which of the two sides is best in point of position? Which makes the best show in council?" 73 And many a generation We did destroy before them, who exceeded them in wealth and pomp! 74 Say thou: whosoever is in error - surely unto him the Compassionate lengtheneth a length, until when they behold that wherewith they were threatened, either the torment or the Hour, then they shall come to know whosoever is worse in position and weaker as an army. 75 And God endows those who avail themselves of [His] guidance with an ever-deeper consciousness of the right way; and good deeds, the fruit whereof endures forever, are, in thy Sustainer's sight, of far greater merit [than any worldly goods,] and yield far better returns. 76 Have you, then, seen him who disbelieves in Our communications and says: I shall certainly be given wealth and children? 77 Has he penetrated to the Unseen, or has he taken a contract with (Allah) Most Gracious? 78 Nay, but We shall record that which he saith and prolong for him a span of torment. 79 and We shall inherit all the resources and hosts of which he boasts, and he will come to Us all alone. 80 And they have taken besides Allah [false] deities that they would be for them [a source of] honor. 81 Nay, but they will deny their worship of them, and become opponents unto them. 82
