Blessed is He Who made the constellations in the heavens and made therein a lamp and a shining moon. 61 And it is He Who created the alternation of the night and day for one who wishes to remember or intends to give thanks. 62 The servants of the All-merciful are those who walk in the earth modestly and who, when the ignorant address them, say, 'Peace'; 63 And who spend the night prostrating and standing, for their Lord. 64 and who pray: "O our Sustainer, avert from us the suffering of hell - for, verily, the suffering caused by it is bound to be a torment dire: 65 verily, how evil an abode and a station!"; 66 who in their spending are neither extravagant nor stingy but maintain moderation, 67 those who never invoke any other deity besides God, nor take a life which God has made sacred, except with the right to do so, nor commit adultery. Anyone who does that shall face punishment: 68 (But) the Penalty on the Day of Judgment will be doubled to him, and he will dwell therein in ignominy,- 69 Except those who repent and believe (in Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds, for those, Allah will change their sins into good deeds, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 70 And whoever repents and does good has truly turned to Allah with an (acceptable) conversion;- 71 And those who do not give false testimony, and when they pass near some indecency, they pass by it saving their honour. 72 And those who, when they are reminded of the signs of their Lord, do not fall deaf and blind upon them. 73 And they who say: O our Lord! grant us in our wives and our offspring the joy of our eyes, and make us guides to those who guard (against evil). 74 Those shall be recompensed with the highest rank for their patience. There they shall receive a greeting, and peace! 75 They will live therein forever, the best abode and place of rest. 76 Say: 'My Lord cares little for you if it was not for your supplication, indeed you have belied (the Messenger and the Koran) so it (the punishment) will be fastened' 77
