۞ Say to them, "I exhort you to do one thing: and that is to stand up before God in pairs, or singly, and then reflect. You will thus realize that your companion is not afflicted with madness. He is only a warner, warning you of an impending severe chastisement." 46 Say, "If I have asked you for any recompense, you can keep it. It is God alone who will reward me: He is the witness of all things." 47 Say to them: “My Lord hurls down the Truth (upon me). He knows fully all that lies beyond the range of perception.” 48 Say, "The truth has come. Falsehood has vanished and it will not come back again". 49 Proclaim, “If I stray, I stray only for my own harm; and if I attain guidance, it is because of what my Lord has sent down to me; indeed He is All Hearing, Close.” 50 If you could only see when they (the unbelievers) are seized with terror, and there is no escape. They shall be seized from a nearby place, 51 And they will [then] say, "We believe in it!" But how for them will be the taking [of faith] from a place far away? 52 since they disbelieved in it before, guessing at the Unseen from a distant place? 53 And a barrier will be set between them and that which they desire [i.e. At-Taubah (turning to Allah in repentance) and the accepting of Faith etc.], as was done in the past with the people of their kind. Verily, they have been in grave doubt. 54
