And remember Our servant Job: when he cried to his Lord: “Behold, Satan has afflicted me with much hardship and suffering.” 41 Urge with your foot; here is a cool washing-place and a drink. 42 And We gave to him his family, and the like of them with them, as a mercy from us, and a reminder unto men possessed of minds; 43 (We said to him): 'Take a bundle of rushes and strike with it; and do not break your oath' We found him to be patient, a good worshiper and he was penitent. 44 And remember Our servants -- Abraham, Isaac and Jacob -- they were endowed with great strength and vision. 45 Verily We did choose them for a special (purpose)- proclaiming the Message of the Hereafter. 46 They are the chosen ones, the excellent in Our sight. 47 And commemorate Isma'il, Elisha, and Zul-Kifl: Each of them was of the Company of the Good. 48 This is a reminder. And indeed, for the righteous is a good place of return 49 Everlasting Gardens – all its gates are open for them. 50 Therein they will recline; therein they will call for plenteous fruit and drink. 51 ۞ And beside them will be chaste females (virgins) restraining their glances only for their husbands, (and) of equal ages. 52 This is what you were promised on the Day of Reckoning: 53 this is Our unending provision' 54 This: and verily for the exorbitant there shall be an evil retreat: 55 hell will they have to endure - and how vile a resting-place! 56 This is so! Then let them taste it, a boiling fluid and dirty wound discharges. 57 Taste the scalding water, pus, and other putrid things". 58 Here is a troop rushing headlong with you! No welcome for them! truly, they shall burn in the Fire! 59 (The followers shall cry to the misleaders:) "Nay, ye (too)! No welcome for you! It is ye who have brought this upon us! Now evil is (this) place to stay in!" 60 They will say: “Our Lord, give twofold punishment in the Fire to him who has led us to this.” 61 And they will say, "Why do we not see men whom we used to count among the worst? 62 "Did we treat them (as such) in ridicule, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?" 63 That most surely is the truth: the contending one with another of the inmates of the fire. 64
