And indeed We have created man and We know what his soul instils in him; and We are nearer to him than the hearts artery. 16 When the two angels meet together, sitting one on the right, and one on the left, 17 Not a word does he utter but there is a sentinel by him, ready (to note it). 18 And the stupor of death will come in truth: this is that which thou hast been shunning. 19 And the trumpet shall be blown; that is the day of the threatening. 20 Each soul shall come with a driver, and a witness. 21 [It will be said], "You were certainly in unmindfulness of this, and We have removed from you your cover, so your sight, this Day, is sharp." 22 His (angelic) companion will say, "(Lord), the record of his deeds is with me and is all ready". 23 "Cast each stubborn unbeliever into Hell," (they will be told), 24 who is an opponent of good, a suspicious transgressor 25 Who made [as equal] with Allah another deity; then throw him into the severe punishment." 26 ۞ and his associate [Satan] will say, "Lord, I did not make him transgress, he had already gone far astray himself." 27 (It was said): “Do not remonstrate in My presence.
