▼ 74 The Hidden Secret
Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
Yes, never! Hell will never spare the disbelievers. By oath of the moon. 32 And [by] the night when it departs 33 The morning when it is unveiled, 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 A warning unto humankind 36 a warning to everyone of you whether he would like to come forward or lag behind. 37 Each one is a hostage to one's deeds, 38 Except those of the right hand 39 In Gardens they will question 40 concerning the sinners, 41 "What has brought you into hell-fire?" 42 They will reply, "We did not pray, 43 and we did not feed the poor, 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who entered into vain discourses. 45 And we used to deny the Day of Recompense 46 Until there came to us the certainty." 47 The intercession of the intercessors shall then be of no avail to them. 48 So what is the matter with them that they turn away from the advice? 49 as though they were terrified asses 50 Fleeing from a lion! 51 No indeed; each one of them desires that open letters be sent to each of them. 52 Never! In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 By no means! Verily this Qur'an is an admonition. 54 so whoever wills shall remember it. 55 And they shall not heed unless Allah willeth. He is the Lord of piety, and the Lord of forgiveness. 56
